88 Chicken & Topokki

I was worried after reading some reviews, but I had a very satisfying meal. It’s standard for most restaurants to offer one side dish per table, so I don’t understand why some reviews complained about that. The portions were generous, and the price was reasonable, so I plan to visit again.

(ps. Photos incomplete the food was too good) 88 Chicken topokki, has been one of our favourites since I was pregnant. I would always crave for their food, the hot pot, the chicken , the rice and their side dishes.until now my daughter is 6 years old it is still our absolute favourite. Back in the day the side dishes were unlimited. Due to cost of living I guess they had to stop it cause like myself I could probably get it refilled 3 times. The owners (husband and wife , along with their daughter) manage the place well. Although it's only the two of them most of the time their quality of food never , I mean NEVER changes. Their strict but somewhat friendly approach is normal for fast paced restaurants like these. However, on their busy periods being low staff means that the food does take longer. As this may be a negative I believe the food is worth the wait. What I am also amazed about it, how the owners especially the woman owner never seems to age. Keep up the good work! You guys are doing amazing admist what the world has gone through. I pray that God continues to bless your business and that you don't loose touch of good customer service because your food is already amazing. 잘 했어, 싸움을 계속! (I'm not Korean 🤭but I tried)

Solid place. Nothing too bougie and is moderately pricey which is to be expected from this modern eating out era. But portion sizes are always decent and in a nice asian market area so its a great spot to grab a very filling meal to satisfy your korean food cravings as long as youre not looking for the fancy dine in experience.

There is a lot to say about this place. BEST KOREAN RESTAURANT HANDS DOWN. Their hot pots are the best I’ve EVER had. And I’m a picky eater. 10/10 for customer service. Staff are always friendly and accomodating. I keep coming back because they are consistently kind and make you feel welcome and relaxed. 10/10 for value for money. Portions are generous and yummy. 10000/10 for taste. I am more than satisfied every time I dine here. The food is too too too good. Your taste buds will thank you. The BBQ and chicken are yummy. The hot pots (the soup) 🤤🤤🤤 I mean thinking of it makes me hungry. Go try their food and thank me later. 😊😉 I am a loyal TOPOKKIHOLIC 😁😁
