Have loved this restaurant for years. Often do online order to collect on way home from work. Always ask politely for chopped chilli and I receive. Tonight a request for an additional $3 when I arrived to pick up! If I had of known this would have gone to farmer jacks while waiting. Disappointed but young man delivered good service when advised of this. NOTE: Put it as an option so no disappointment when arriving!

Owner/head= wonderful human being I took a small stint at Uber delivering and had to pick food from here. (I'm an international student delivering food via Uber in Perth) Dinner was ready at home but I was hungry so I asked the the guy at the reception whether there's something I can buy for like $5 as I didn't want to lose my Uber profit by spending more and there was dinner ready at home. And I was getting late as the previous uber delivery guy has taken my package by mistake. The owner brought something from inside. Food for me. When I asked how much he declined. Turns out the food was free. Faith in humanity restored. I hope this place will expand and become big in the future. They totally deserve it. Please buy from them. They deserve so many customers. Thank you very much for your kindness.

Hi, We just had the Snapper and Chips and fish of the day, being Hake and Chips also. We went for both battered. I have to say that the quality of both fish and the chips were excellent. I can't make a good batter but they can. So very impressed. Only photo that I can take now is of the totally grease free completely dry paper that they were wrapped in. Will certainly be returning. After the restaurant's recent renovation, we were eager to try the new Thai menu that has replaced the long-standing Italian offering. The space is now bright and open, and the atmosphere felt inviting. The menu offers a thoughtful selection of dishes, with portion sizes that are just right. While the prices are on the higher side for a casual neighbourhood spot, there are some highlights. The Thai fish cakes were enjoyable, though the spring rolls could have used a bit more flavour. The massaman curry was rich in coconut, though the meat varied in texture—some pieces were tender, others tougher. The pad Thai (chicken) was satisfying, though it didn’t particularly stand out. One thing to note is that the space can get a bit noisy due to the many hard surfaces, and with the bright lighting, it might not be the most intimate setting for a quiet dinner. Overall, it’s a nice option if you’re in Carine and in the mood for Thai cuisine. While it may not transport you to the streets of Bangkok, it offers a pleasant dining experience.

My experience at China Place Restaurant was fantastic from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a nice mix of modern and traditional Chinese mean that made the space feel cozy yet elegant. I was immediately drawn to the extensive menu, which featured a great variety of authentic Chinese dishes. I couldn’t resist trying their noodle, and it did not disappoint—the noodle were perfectly cooked and packed with delicious flavors. What really made the evening special was the service. My waiter, Duncan, was incredibly friendly and attentive. He made excellent recommendations and checked in on us just the right amount of times without being overbearing. I could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great dining experience. I also appreciated how accommodating they were with dietary preferences. They had plenty of options for different needs, and the kitchen was happy to adjust dishes when necessary. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable, which made the meal feel like a great value. Overall, I had a wonderful time at China Place. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and I left feeling completely satisfied. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their dishes!
