quote Sweet corn and chicken soup had the consistency of snot and didn't have much flavour. Everything else good. Batter on the honey chicken was a bit soggy but still tasty

quote Order 4 vegetables and 1 meat for $17 takeaway. No card surcharge. It was $25 buffet only for dine in for dinner so only options was takeaway as we weren't that hungry. Beef was a little dry. Sambar coconut was dry and fragrant. Chilli was slightly spicy and sour. Dhal was large pieces and more on the dry side. Cashew curry was a little bland. Okra was crunchy. Overall taste was ok but nothing exceptional. Portions were really generous though for $17. The $15 for 1 meat and 3 vegetables was much smaller. Think it's $20 for lunch buffet. No papadums for buffet but had string hoppers, hoppers, kotu roti, 3 meat curries, 6 vegetable curries, and bread.

quote First of all a huge thank you to Ana, she went out of her way to make our experience extra special by giving my mom a birthday surprise 😻 thank you Jana (dunno if the spelling is correct) for baking the red velvet cake 😻😻 As for today's dishes, we learned how to make a savoury kueh, sweet kueh, curry laksa and chili paste. Ana and Nik are very friendly and patient, professional and passionate. I appreciate their attention to details, this is a place for people who are looking to learn how to cook Malaysian cuisine with precision and still be quite chill. The place is open aired, it was windy today, I imagine it could be hot sometimes, they provide insect repellent. The morning market tour led by Doreen was lovely, she took us to the cooked food center upstairs for a quick breakfast then we strolled around the wet market for ingredients. Doreen was friendly and she knows the market well. Big ups to her πŸ‘πŸΎ Thank you Ana again and see you soon!

quote Excellent quality food here. Ordered crispy pork Kolo mee and the hainese chicken. Both were great. I would say quantity is on thr smaller side for the price you pay. But the quality is also good, I'll let it slide and give them the 4.5 stars, and round up to 5 stars. will probably keep coming back from time to time or get take away when in the mood for Asian. It's directly in front of the car wash, which is not ideal and brings down the atmosphere. I gave it 3/5 for atmosphere. Also, overall not a huge restaurant. But, I'm there for the food to be honest, so will keep the score at 5.
