I can’t believe we got a table, tempo has the quality of pizza that should be exclusive, booked out and sold at unreasonable prices, but it’s not. This neighbourhood pizza shop is run by experts in the field of a perfect Napoletana pizza, three generations with an ancestral passion for excellence, the quality is comparable to none other in Melbourne and trust me, I’ve looked around.
Tempo is simultaneously a long standing community favourite and a well kept secret. Who knew you could still get outstanding Napoletana pizza for $20-$25, those were the days, and the ones we need to cling onto.
Dom, Peter, Sebastian and now Ethan also, are doing their bit for the preservation of the good times.
We got our food very quickly, I’ve heard sometimes there is a wait, but really it’s worth it, some people line up for brunch, I’d wait an hour for this pizza all the while drinking the $16 tempo cocktail which is a MUST!
They also do really good pasta, so everybody’s happy, I mean pasta and wine, nobody can beat that.
Do yourself a favour, visit the real hospitality, run by family, made with love.

I ordered duck rice and was pretty yummy. The restaurant is quite clean overall and comfortable to sit in. You also get complementary tea to go with your meal. There are quite a few option on special before 5pm and I would recommend to give this a go if you are looking for a quick lunch near Doncaster east.

Amazing kind staff and services. Lots and lots
of options to have real meals, or kebabs. Lots of desserts too. Everything I tried was delicious!

This place is an absolute treasure of an Indian restaurant that should be on every food lover's radar. Despite being very old, the restaurant's impeccable maintenance speaks volumes about the owners' dedication to their establishment.
The authenticity of the food is what truly stands out. Every dish carries genuine Indian flavors that transport you straight to the streets of Delhi or Mumbai. While the entire menu impresses, the aloo tikki is an absolute must-try - perfectly seasoned and prepared with obvious care and tradition. And don't leave without sampling their mango ice cream for dessert, which provides the perfect sweet finish to your meal.
What elevates the experience beyond just excellent food is the remarkable service. The staff's attentiveness creates an atmosphere that makes you feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Their approach to hospitality is truly exceptional.
The people running this restaurant embody humility while displaying complete confidence in their culinary offerings - a combination that's reflected in every aspect of the dining experience. Their passion and expertise are evident in each carefully crafted dish.
For anyone seeking authentic Indian cuisine, I give this restaurant my 100% recommendation. The moment you step inside, you'll feel right at home in an environment that celebrates both tradition and hospitality. This isn't just a meal; it's a cultural experience worth savoring.

First time coming this new burger place, to be honest I had high expectation as I saw the images on the Google but it wasn’t quite how I expected it, but I did like the wings. The wings were really nice and crispy however the burger and the wrap a basic taste. The burger that I got was Porto in meal it $17.90 and it tasted to me similar to Bondi burger so I wasn’t really happy about that as well as The source was $2 for a small amount to me that’s a bit ridiculous other places they give that size free sauce or 50 Cent each not two dollars. but the place is nice and clean. Just my honest review.
