quote Ordered via menu log. I was a little apprehensive based on reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered my food about an hour earlier than I normally would have because they do have warnings on their dishes that the wait times may be long. I called up the restaurant to double check something in my order and the guy who I spoke to on the phone was lovely and helpful. I ended up receiving my food 45 minutes later (much much sooner than I expected due to the estimated wait time). Food was piping hot and delicious. I think that if other people do have issues with the wait time, please be patient and kind to the restaurant staff when you call in. It’s a very busy and popular place after all. There are warnings all over their menu informing you that wait times may exceed expectations, so order it earlier than you normally would, especially with large orders.

quote I haven't been here for a while so I decided to pop in for lunch with a work colleague since we were in the area. I noticed quite a few things have changed since the last time I was here for a meal, maybe 6 - 8 months ago. I guess costs have gone up and they've had to cut back wherever they can. They no longer have the Maggi chilli sauce bottles on the tables. If you want it, you'll need to get it from the counter. They claim to have new items added to the menu eg Sarawak Laksa, although I could've sworn it was already on the menu. I'll need to visit again to try their version of Sarawak Laksa. Pictures look legit and pretty tempting, so I guess I'll have try it soon. We ordered a Singapore Fried Mee hoon, Nasi Lemak with chicken curry and a serve of fried wontons. All washed down with a couple of Cokes. I added extra noodles and a fried egg on top of my fried mee hoon. Fried egg was $4 and so was the extra meehoon. A bit steep but I figured I'd give it a go. Wait time for food to come out was around 10 - 15 minutes, which I suppose is pretty good considering all tables were full in the shop i.e. very busy. Singapore Fried Mee Hoon portions seem to have gotten significantly smaller. I thought at first I had received the regular portion instead of the extra noodles. However, the server confirmed that what I received was with extra noodles. The fried egg was done nicely. Crispy chewy white and the egg yolk was just runny enough. Flavourwise, there was a bit of wok hei to the noodles, but it wasn't spectacular. Had to put lots of the Maggi Chilli Sauce to give it that flavour boost. The photo I took of the fried meehoon was after I put the sauce on. Feedback from my colleague about his Nasi Lemak was that it was OK although the sambal seemed to be a bit bland and portion sizes seem to have been reduced also. The fried wontons were just as good as I remembered them to be so that's a plus.

quote We were greeted as soon as we came in. The service attitude was very good and enthusiastic, making tourists like us feel at home. There are all kinds of delicious dishes with authentic tastes to satisfy the taste buds. The environment of this restaurant is really good. Although it has a history of several decades, it is very clean. The food is not only beautiful in appearance, but most importantly, it tastes great, with good color, aroma and taste. The cooking method is simply first-class, retaining the original flavor of the ingredients. It is pleasing to the eye. The taste is superb, which makes people feel very appetizing at first glance. The portion is large. The advantage is that the dishes are also very fresh, the taste is moderately salty, the heat is just right, and the serving speed is very fast. The taste is authentic, the dishes are rich, the ingredients are fresh, the taste is authentic, people can eat with confidence, customer satisfaction is high, and it is worth recommending.

quote This was our first time trying this place and wow we were delightfully surprised by the generous portions and fantastic flavour. Everything was fried to crispy perfection and the Hoki was fresh! The chips were well coated in delicious chicken salt- didn’t need to add any of our own from home. We can’t wait to come back for more!

quote A nice place, staff were nice and friendly. Seating inside the main area was a bit tight and the table was a bit too small for 5 people and the amount of food we ordered. The food was alright. Would recommend to try for those who enjoy Thai cuisine
