quote This place is homie and cosy, surprised to see how small it was, but at the same time not surprised. The interior is very simple, and food prices are quite affordable. We've ordered the Szechuan Tofu and Garlic King Prawns. The food itself isn't special as it tasted okay. Apparently they do a lunch special for $5! Amazing. This place is good for if you want to grab something for takeaway or a quick bite to eat.

quote I had a chicken omelette which was amazing. I don't know if it was the fact that I was starving but it was great. Ordered with steam rice. Told it would take ten minutes, it actually took closer to half an hour. Very busy night. I will definitely be back for the omelettes.

asaka-sushi

quote Walked to this sushi shop and ordered Asaka Bento Lunch Special ($18.50). The combo includes teriyaki chicken, 2 pieces of fried chicken, 1 piece of fried fish and one fried prawn. Love the salad with mayonnaise dressing and the crunchy yellow pickles. Worth the money. Delicious food with affordable price! Will come back again.

beckenham-fish-n-treat

quote So I was craving for a fish and chips on a NY day arvo and found this gem of a place. I ordered seafood basket. Served by a friendly uncle whom happily answered my questions. Cozy restaurant that feels like an outback deli. It is neat and clean. Seafood basket was sizeable with plenty of chips and generous two servings of hake fish. At $17, it was great value. Quality is great too. I agree with some of the reviews where chips were crunchily tasty and were not oily. Fish were great with crunchy batter yet juicy in the inside. Food aside, the menu instore, in my opinion, is kind of confusing with plenty of options and prices plastered all over. I will visit again to taste their other food. Recommended to try if you want a no fuss tasty fish and chips.

belmont-village-fish-and-chips

quote Called in for fish n chips as I had never been here before. The fish and batter were nice on both pieces. The chips were quite crispy but a little fatty for us. May have been due to what they were fried in. We had four fish portions and $6.00 chips at a cost of $72.50. What was once a reasonable price meal has now started to become a luxury for most families that they just can't justify.
