Chinese cuisine has influenced many other cuisines in Asia, with modifications made to cater to local palates. Chinese food staples such as rice, soy sauce, noodles, tea, chili oil and tofu, and utensils such as chopsticks and the wok, can now be found worldwide.
We decided to try the Meat Lover Supreme pizza, and it exceeded all expectations. The toppings were a hearty mix of various meats, but what really stood out was the unique flavour of the meat itself. It had a distinct Middle Eastern spice profile, almost reminiscent of a kebab—warm, aromatic, and full of depth. The pizza’s base was another pleasant surprise: not too thick, with a wonderfully chewy texture that held up well without being overly heavy. I’ll definitely be coming back for more of that flavourful, one-of-a-kind pizza.

Perfectly serviceable ramen on the outskirts of Launceston's CBD; will definitely hit a craving if it's what you're looking for
Woke up and was in the mood for ramen - enter this gem of a place. Ramens always a good time, so saying "the ramen is good" is a bit redundant (but it's worth mentioning). Alongside this they serve some Japanese classics that bring home those classic flavours
Outside of the food, there's not much more that grabbed my attention; service was fine and the setting was clean/nice. To be fair though, you're here for the ramen and that's what sells it

Had an amazing south Indian cuisine experience at Bala’s. The food was really amazing and delectable. I have never had such amazing South Indian food in New Zealand. Highly recommend.
