Order Food in ivanhoe

I live a suburb over and always order from here!! Simple pleasures like a decent pizza are worth travelling for. Good prices, staff are nice, what more do you want!!

Young man Adam was excellent in his service. He poured tea into your tea cups and was very polite and attentive.

The burger patties are quite thin and the chicken burger was very oily. The cheese fries only had cheese on the top half. There are definitely better burger places in the area.

I've eaten many pizzas. Gipi definitely rates as top shelf. Pizzas are what I would describe as gourmet Australian style. The toppings are fresh and generous without being heavy handed. The base is exceptional! Thin, crispy, caramelized and never floppy. The staff are happy and approachable and the chef is a great bloke who is clearly passionate about cooking you a pizza you will enjoy :-) I have eaten from here 4 or 5 times. Consistency is key and these folks nail it!

We thought we’d give this local pizza place a try tonight (as we had just visited Bunnings). I am very glad we did! Pizzas are absolutely delicious, and are made with high quality ingredients. Staff are friendly and welcoming and you can tell that they love what they do. We were even given a sample of the lemon granita to try while we waited for our pizzas to cook, which was a lovely touch. Pizzas are perfect in consistency, with a lovely bubbly crust. Will definitely be coming back!

We love this restaurant so much, sometimes we go multiple times in one week. The food is incredible, always fresh and delicious. Don't listen to the other reviews mentioning portion size, the portions are more than generous and represent great value for money. The owners and staff are so friendly and accommodating, they can always fit our large family in at short notice. Get the housemade prawn crackers, crispy chicken with noodles (ask for the soup on the side), and all the vermicelli dishes are delicious too. Cannot recommend highly enough. The best Vietnamese on Victoria St.
