Indian Essence - Indian restaurant in Glenroy Melbourne has mediocre food quality while price is reasonable.
Service was decent and bathroom was reasonably clean.
You can pay with cash or card.
They also do uber eats and door dash.

Sweet corn and chicken soup had the consistency of snot and didn't have much flavour. Everything else good. Batter on the honey chicken was a bit soggy but still tasty

The food is amazing and we get 2 dinners and a small lunch out of our $30 order of 1 Butter Chicken, 1 Rice, 1 Raita, love it and 2 Naan Bread. Our order is always ready and waiting the Customer Service faultless. I'm a Local and Bombay Cafe and Westmeadows Fish and Chips are outstanding...

Best pizzas ever, no wonder they’ve been here for 20 years! The toppings are all fresh, the sauce on the pizza is generous, every bite is so flavourful! You can tell a lot locals come here often and all the staff remembers their customers name! Service is excellent! Highly recommend their hot and spicy pizzas 🍕

Cheapest Malaysian in Melbourne that I have found and tried. Fast service, double-colour toned interior, woody restaurant feel, fatty creamy spicy aroma from the food - couldn’t get any more authentic than this!
$10 for classics such as Kolo Mee, Char Kway Teow, Nasi Lemak, Hainanese Chicken Rice done just like the way we had it in Malaysia. Having travelled to Penang, the quality is almost similar. Penang White Curry Mee brought me back to the one I had near Air Siam temple in Penang. Rice dishes are better than their noodles, as I found the CKT & Kolo Mee lacking flavour. Love the chicken of both the curry chicken in the NasiLemak & Hainanese Chicken Rice. Sauce is super delicious, but the fragrant rice for both dishes were surprisingly better.
Definitely could do more meat for the Kolo Mee, and a bit more consistent meat would be great.
Even their teh tarik was perfect! My new go-to spot for Malaysian cuisine, I don’t have to go anywhere else for this hearty harmonious flavoured meal!

Lots of wok hei, no MSG, Asians that got used to MSG may think the taste is on the lighter side, but I found the flavor/taste is very close to authentic Canton/Guangdong style which the seasoning is not overwhelming and you could really taste the true taste of the ingredients, which is very yummy.
The chicken skewers are deep fried, not traditional malay style, still tasty tho
