Mexican Taco

I had the prawn fajitas at Mexican Taco in Heidelberg, and they were delicious! The prawns were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the sizzling veggies added a nice crunch. The portion size was generous, and the side of warm tortillas made it easy to create the perfect bite. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe of the place was laid-back and welcoming.

Food was fresh and enjoyable. Had had some good tastes going and the salsa verde was great. Plenty of gluten free options. Staff are friendly. If you don't like it spicy I would mention this when ordering. Some room for improvement: starters arrived after the mains were being served, and one of the tables we were on was terribly unbalanced making eating noticeably awkward.

Came in when only two staff were on, the guy serving was still attentive as he also tried to serve a large table. Food was ready quickly and is good, especially for the price. Have been a few times when looking for a quick feed and would come back again.

I went there with my mother tonight and, after scouring the mouth-watering menu, my mother had the Baja taco as well as the Gambas taco, both soft shell, and I had the Pollo Mole, which was the signature dish. We also shared a couple of drinks (El Mex-T J and Strawberry Picante) and a serve of churros. The food was excellent (they try to make everything gourmet, not something that you'd usually find in a chain restaurant), the service was great, and the pricing was reasonable (while the serving size may not seem big at first, it's big enough to fill you up, but delicious enough that you'll still be asking for more). The bonus is that they actually take the initiative to listen to customers and alter their menu according to what's popular and is most frequently asked for. The staff are also very friendly. I will definitely go there again in the near future (possibly tomorrow...)
