Ethiopian

Ethiopian cuisine characteristically consists of vegetable and often very spicy meat dishes. This is usually in the form of wat, a thick stew, served on top of injera, a large sourdough flatbread, which is about 50 centimeters in diameter and made out of fermented teff flour. Ethiopians eat most of the time with their right hands, using pieces of injera to pick up bites of entrées and side dishes.

quote Terrific in Pizzas and quick service in doorstep. Punjabi Sunrise is always good in their food, pricing & service. Portions are healthy, tightly packed and super delicious. Loved the entire experience today and I will surely recommend them to others. They are the choice to recommend.

quote We decided to try the Meat Lover Supreme pizza, and it exceeded all expectations. The toppings were a hearty mix of various meats, but what really stood out was the unique flavour of the meat itself. It had a distinct Middle Eastern spice profile, almost reminiscent of a kebab—warm, aromatic, and full of depth. The pizza’s base was another pleasant surprise: not too thick, with a wonderfully chewy texture that held up well without being overly heavy. I’ll definitely be coming back for more of that flavourful, one-of-a-kind pizza.

quote We love it. They have totally different tastes compared to other famous burgers chains. Fries were awesome too. Not sure, which tomato sauce they use, but it tasted so good with fries. Highly recommended

quote We went there for Sunday lunch. We ordered 2 mains, basil chilli beef and salted egg eggplant with large rice. All food was very large portion. Lucky we did not order the entre. We could not finish our meal which is never happen with my partner( he is big eater). Beef was a bit salty side and luck of basil flavour. We really liked salted egg eggplant. We took left over home and it turns into part of our lunch. Good place to go with friends so you can order different dishes.

quote Nice kebab. Disappointing service. Myself and 93 year old mother waited 15+ minutes to place our order as we were ignored while pre-ordered foods (yet to be collected) were prioritised. The place was empty (2.15 pm), but a few people came in to collect food. Our order of 1 x tea, 1 x black coffee and 1 x kebab arrived 25 mins later.. 35+ mins wait in a non aircon cafe is never worth it (outside temp 36c). Total cost $31.50. (1 x Combination kebab (salad only) .. 1 x mug tea with bag floating inside plus 1 mug black coffee). Not quite sure how this adds up as the Kebab is $16.50 + 50c sauce.. making the 2 x hot drinks $7 each? Good takeaway food but not a Cafe.
