Order Food in scarborough

A lovely local community Chinese restaurant in North Perth. Yummy fried lobster with Ginger and Shallots, steamed scallops, beef with wasabi sauce and house fish soup were fantastic. As a frequent business traveller from Hong Kong, very happy to enjoy the yummy food and excellent service. Impressive and well done!

The pizza here is super underrated. Everyone talks about the fish and chips but the pizza is what truly shines. I had a portofino which was big, loaded with toppings, and tasted fresh. For just $16, it's an absolute bargain. Also probably one of the few fish and chips places in Perth that has seating inside and outside, which is great if you just want to sit down with friends and chat. We ended up staying for 2.5 hours, and the lady running the place was super accommodating and chill about it. Highly recommend!

Ordered via menu log. I was a little apprehensive based on reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered my food about an hour earlier than I normally would have because they do have warnings on their dishes that the wait times may be long. I called up the restaurant to double check something in my order and the guy who I spoke to on the phone was lovely and helpful. I ended up receiving my food 45 minutes later (much much sooner than I expected due to the estimated wait time). Food was piping hot and delicious. I think that if other people do have issues with the wait time, please be patient and kind to the restaurant staff when you call in. It’s a very busy and popular place after all. There are warnings all over their menu informing you that wait times may exceed expectations, so order it earlier than you normally would, especially with large orders.

I had ham & pineapple on thin base, and the chicken pizza on normal base. The normal base was a little soggy. My preference only too much ham on the ham & pineapple- would of liked more pineapple and on the chicken -there was way too much green capsicum it was over taking the taste of the rest of ingredients. But the pizzas are nice. Plenty of ingredients and cheese. Not too greasy. I had delivery. Would I order again probably yes.

Have loved this restaurant for years. Often do online order to collect on way home from work. Always ask politely for chopped chilli and I receive. Tonight a request for an additional $3 when I arrived to pick up! If I had of known this would have gone to farmer jacks while waiting. Disappointed but young man delivered good service when advised of this. NOTE: Put it as an option so no disappointment when arriving!

Shalimar did the catering for my birthday function. They were easy to correspond with, made it easy to arrange pick up (they deliver too) and made useful suggestions relating to number of portions based on attendees. As for the food, they never disappoint - even the quality of food in bulk (I was catering for approximately 60 people) was sensational. Everybody commented on how wonderful the curries were. Meat dishes were lovely and tender with just the right amount of spice (you can choose , however how hot you want them) Dahl was super tasty and naans perfect. Literally every time I get a curry from Shalimar I say it’s the best in Perth and that view didn’t change with my bulk order.
