Great atmosphere. It's a cozy and tidy place to have a meal. The service was very good as well. We ordered roast pork fried rice, plain yaksoba, katsu prawn and fried dumplings. Every single dish was very tasty.

Delicious food and great seevice. The Came with soup, rice, meat of selection (teriyaki salmon in my case), salad and dumplings... great price and flavourful. It was made quickly and I'll definitely come back for me. Very proud of having this small business in our foreshore. Highly recommended.

Small tucked away sushi shop nearby the main strip of the waterfront at Rockingham. The staff were really friendly and lovely. There's a mix of cold sushi ready to eat (sliced not handrolls) and also other Japanese dishes that can be ordered hot such as bento boxes and rice bowls. The katsu chicken sushi was really good, although the teriyaki chicken was a bit average but not bad. Ok portions for the price.

Wow, what a great addition to the cafe strip at Rockingham foreshore! I have been here a few times now and the food is fantastic, so fresh and full of flavour. Serving sizes are very generous and affordable. Service is lovely and staff and owner so friendly and accomodating. Most recently when we dined in we had the rainbow roll, cooked tuna sushi, agedashi tofu, lotus chips and seaweed salad. All the food was made to perfection but a special mention goes to the agedashi tofu - it melted in your mouth and the bonito flakes on top are a great contrast in texture. Also on another occasion I have pre-ordered a sushi platter (pic is 40pcs) and enjoyed it with family for a picnic after the sculpture exhibition last weekend. You get to choose what rolls make up the platter which was perfect for us as we had 3 adults and 3 children so it meant there was everyone's favourites included. Thankyou Sushi Cuckoo for making my family's tummies very happy, can't wait to return soon!

This was my second visit and I just couldn’t help myself—I had to come back!! The food is always incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. It’s now officially my favorite spot in the area! The service is excellent and the quality of the food is consistently top-notch. I’ve already recommended it to my family and friends—it’s absolutely worth a visit!!
