quote Rated 3.8. The coconut coffee was good. The pho was a bit sweet and without a garnish plate. The lemongrass chicken dish was quite tasty although not a large serving size.

kim-khanh-restaurant

quote Edit: New rating 4.6. I've eaten here again several times, for dinner, lunch and take away. The pho has been consistently very good, better than the first time. The entrées are still good. Some of the other rice and noodle dishes were okay. Service is usually prompt. Original: Rated 4.5. The pho was pretty good and I enjoyed the mixed entrée. I plan to come back again.

quote This is the best Uyghur style chinese food in the Brisbane area outside of Sunnybank. The spicy sour rice noodles are excellent. The noodles are thick, similar to the Taiwanese rice noodle style, with fresh cucumber, peanuts, chicken, and lots of garlic. The noodles are perfectly cooked to the firm yet smooth texture and the dish, served cold, is a nice, suprisingly refreshing, spicy meal. The homemade noodles with lamb are also quite good. But the stars are the meat skewers and noodle soups. The skewers are the classic Uyghur style with lots of cumin. The broth is so rich. Its amazing to have this place so close to the University. While there are places that do some of these dishes better in Sunnybank, you need to take multiple buses from the University to get to those. Its a little mom and pop place, and the guy serving is nice. You order from a tablet, as I think there are only two people working at this restaurant at any one given time. Its amazing what they pull off as just a tiny family place. Parking can be challenging if you drive here. It can also be slow at times (but fast at other times), and tables often aren't cleared, but if you are here, you probably weren't driving. You're here for the unique and delicious food within walking distance of work or study. Hard to beat this local place. I have no idea why the star rating is so low. Maybe people are expecting fine dining service in a little mom and pop shop. Its honestly quite puzzling.

quote The best I’ve eaten around this area! We ordered family pack 1. Reasonably priced! Chips were still hot with a crunch when I got back home: Nearly 10 minute drive away. Too few chips. We will order more chips the next time round. A little too much salt in my opinion but the rest of my family enjoyed it. Chips are our favorite. Fish and calamari are decent. Definitely ordering from them again.
