This place serves nice Uyghur food. The big-plate chicken, which is one of the signature dishes, was very authentic and delicious.
However when I was dining there, there were some yelling from one staff member to other staff, which was really, really loud.

This restaurant serves authentic Uyghur food and offers the usual array of bbq lamb and meats as well as favourite such as Big Plate Chicken, Hand pulled Lamb and dumplings.
Favourites of mine includes the lamg skewers, which are so juicy and flavourful with a hint of smokiness from the charcoal. A lot of the noodles are good as well, mostly homemade and still has a decent amount of chewiness.
The restaurant is big on flavours as opposed to ambiance so great for a casual good feed as opposed to nice sit down dinner!

Great alternative option for chinese food. Many of the dishes are spicy - and I love spicy food, so that's great! However for those who cant stand spicy or oily food, better to be more careful in your food selection.
We ordered multiple dishes, but my mpst favorite is the spicy noodles with chicken (I think it is under the xinjian special dish on the menu), the noodles were chewy and the seasonings were just perfect! Unfortunately I dont have the photo of it. But highly recommend it! The beef skewers also great, much better than the chicken ones. The beef was juicy and tender. So so good!

This place gets points for being halal, good area decent parking, and a variety of menu items.
Food was good - my favourite for the evening was the noodles. Good to know in Canberra that there's a decent Uyghur spot.
From the outside, whilst unassuming, it is quite a popular spot in the area.
Thank you for being genuine and authentic - I hope to try some other menu items the next time I'm in the area.
