Thai cooking places emphasis on lightly prepared dishes with strong aromatic components and a spicy edge. Today Thai food is its own, with a special unique blend of the 5 tastes: sweet, sour, bitter, salty, and spicy.
Antonio looked after us so well, we had been travelling to see family needed late night food , we were so surprised to have such good quality food late at night. I told family in the local area , and apparently he is well known for having great coffee also plus such an awesome guy !! He made a special gnocchi for my partner which wasn't on the menu and perfect pizza . Support your local business 🤗

Very delicious food. Butter chicken was great. My son enjoyed it. I wished I got it spicy instead of mild. It was too mild.
But the chicken birayani was great and yellow dhal too.

Came for a late lunch with mates, and it was a good decision.
Everything was freshly made, delicious and good portion sizes. The egg fried rice flavourful and we could tell it had wok hay. The beef brisket was very tender, perfect cuts of meat with fat and good flavours. Curry puffs were nice and flaky with steaming filling. Mapo tofu on rice excellent too.
Staff were very friendly and hospitable too. I highly recommend it 👍👍

The food is sensational. Had the mixed plate and couldn’t ask for more. Two smaller eaters could easily share it.
The only reason I give four stars is because for non-smokers, you can only access toilets by going into the smoking area, and the glass sliding door separating the smoking g area from the restaurant is in dire need of repair and because it’s so hard to close, is normally left open meaning the restaurant is smoky too.

Food quality good, chef was very friendly and courteous. Service could have been better by boys taking order and serving food but overall good. Good venue for small gathering, located close to Joondalup shopping centre behind Kulcha restaurant.

We recently dined at the Kuala Lumpur Cocktail Cafe in Bassendean, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our visit was memorable.
We ordered a variety of dishes, including Maggie Goreng, Mamak Mee Goreng, Roti Banjir, Nasi Lemak with Goat Curry, Char Kueh Teow, and Roti Kaya, along with drinks like hot Teh Tarik and Sirap Ice. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with authentic Malaysian flavors that transported us straight to the bustling streets of Kuala Lumpur.
The Maggie Goreng and Mamak Mee Goreng were perfectly spiced and incredibly satisfying. The Roti Banjir was a comforting blend of textures and flavors, while the Nasi Lemak with Goat Curry was rich and beautifully presented. The Char Kueh Teow had that unmistakable smoky "wok hei" flavor, and the Roti Kaya was a delightful way to end the meal on a sweet note.
The Teh Tarik was expertly brewed—smooth, frothy, and just the right amount of sweetness—and the Sirap Ice was refreshingly vibrant.
We highly recommend Kuala Lumpur Cocktail Cafe for anyone craving authentic Malaysian cuisine. The food, service, and overall experience were fantastic. We’ll definitely be returning to try more of their amazing menu!
