burger-village

quote We love it. They have totally different tastes compared to other famous burgers chains. Fries were awesome too. Not sure, which tomato sauce they use, but it tasted so good with fries. Highly recommended

hermanos-en-cantina

quote We love this place as a family, Hermanos En Cantina or pseudonym Curious George. The atmosphere is perfect casual, Mex Tex (in that order) and heaps of fun, happily melding the Friday night young crowd with the pre or post show set, families, and regulars. Food suits all palates. You can't beat the punchy, fresh flavours and huge array of delectable tacos (Texas Red or Triple H today? Porque nos los dos!), but the brisket nachos are first place in their race. Steak cooked to perfection, chips in Perth's top five (start the debate - list needed!). Great value food and bevs, so there's always a couple of margaritas and tap beers ordered to pair with the gluttony. Delivery orders don't get in the way of service at all unlike some places. So, yeah, we keep coming back regularly - ¡Muchisimas gracias! But I do blame our local Hermanos for turning the kids into WWE fans. Fortunately, the Junk Yard Dog appears for OG crowd.

house-of-pho

quote Parking is difficult on the weekend, have both free parking and paid parking. Spacious seating inside and clean toilet facilities. Services was a bit erratic when we dine in, food for us came out before the kids and unlike other Vietnamese restaurants in the area no thought of smaller cutlery. However the kid pho as very tasty and plenty of meat. The size of the special broken rice is smaller than those I have eaten around Perth, but the way they marinated the meat was excellent just like those I had in HCM. The vegetarian pho could do with some tofu instead of chunky root vegetables. Finally my milkshakes arrived late, the lady did apologised.

midnight-express-cafe

quote The pizza here is super underrated. Everyone talks about the fish and chips but the pizza is what truly shines. I had a portofino which was big, loaded with toppings, and tasted fresh. For just $16, it's an absolute bargain. Also probably one of the few fish and chips places in Perth that has seating inside and outside, which is great if you just want to sit down with friends and chat. We ended up staying for 2.5 hours, and the lady running the place was super accommodating and chill about it. Highly recommend!

okay-restaurant

quote Great Viet food. Plenty of seating. Fast and friendly service. We had lunch on a Sunday here and ordered the braised duck in egg noodles soup and a lotus root with pork and prawn salad. Both were great. The braised duck was flavourful. Egg noodles were perfectly cooked and came with bean sprouts, some Chinese vegetables and lettuce leaves. The soup was appetising. The prawns in the salad were big, not over cooked - springy and not tough. The pork was well flavoured. The salad was a tad too salty, but only just a little. Overall, very happy with it!
