Beckenham Fish n Treat

We asked Beckenham Fish & Treat to cater fish and chips for 30 kids and multiple adults with 1 days notice. They did not disappoint. The food was fresh and fantastic. All kids and parents loved it. Great value for money. Can not thank you enough.

So I was craving for a fish and chips on a NY day arvo and found this gem of a place. I ordered seafood basket. Served by a friendly uncle whom happily answered my questions. Cozy restaurant that feels like an outback deli. It is neat and clean. Seafood basket was sizeable with plenty of chips and generous two servings of hake fish. At $17, it was great value. Quality is great too. I agree with some of the reviews where chips were crunchily tasty and were not oily. Fish were great with crunchy batter yet juicy in the inside. Food aside, the menu instore, in my opinion, is kind of confusing with plenty of options and prices plastered all over. I will visit again to taste their other food. Recommended to try if you want a no fuss tasty fish and chips.

Seafood is slightly overcooked with darker than preferred batter. However, the food is still nice tasting with crunchy batter and doesn't have the same oily surface that some other fish and chip shops have on their battered food.

Beatiful service by the uncle - we didnt order the tartar sauce online so decided to grab in person when picking up the order. When we're about to pay the uncle decided to give the sauces to us for free On top of that he had also given us more fish etc than what we ordered Thank you so much for the thoughtfulness We have been here a couple times now and will definitely continue to order more of your tasty fish n chips, deep fried mars bar and other stuff you have!!

Nice restaurant, Nice fish&chips, cheap and worthy. The fish was big and lots of chips. The owner is friendly and well service. Definitely come back again.😋👍
