Bull Creek Hawker has been under new ownership for the past 8 months confirmed with them. Today didn’t seem that busy.
The fish wing laksa was exceptional - huge serving (4 wings) and laksa flavor excellent with the thin mee hoon noodles. 9/10. (All 4 other tables had ordered this too! One with the clear soup). Definitely beats one of my faves - Hawkers Cafe in Winthrop now for the prize of best fish wing in Perth.
The curry chicken which was my favorite in the world slipped a bit but still excellent. Ordered with a Change for flavored rice for an extra $2. Asked for thighs and legs and they actually provided around 6 pieces and two potatoes in the lunch with rice serving. 8/10.
Total for both dishes only $33 - great value. Had leftovers serving size for two was so big.
Definitely will be back. — eating lunch at Bull Creek Hawker.

This is a very popular Chinese restaurant that always has a line. It does feel like a hawker’s market with people waiting around the ordering bench and a bit of yelling happening. The store itself is quite small and therefore it’s hard to get a table. You also need to wait awhile for your food. I waited around 20 minutes for my meal. The sweet & sour fish was generous and quite tasty.

Local hawker restaurant. Basic furnishings. Order at the counter and dishes are served at your table without asking who it belongs to. Don’t expect great service. But the ladies there are very friendly and look like they have some regular customers.
Food is good and servings are very generous. Ordered the Hor Fun with egg sauce. Nice with wok hei and very generous portion. Loh Bak is very moist. Laksa, when you add the Sambal makes it more oomph. Overall a nice little restaurant serving great Malaysian style hawker food. Must try

Ordered curry laksa Yong tau foo takeaway from BCH a few times and last time there was a sour taste to the Yong tau foo. Thought it was just that one rare occasion the Yong tau foo filling was off. However ordered it again today and the Yong tau foo tasted sour again especially the fish paste filling inside the eggplant and capsicum.
Not sure if it was the hot weather in their kitchen but shouldn’t be an excuse. I picked up my order when it was piping hot so I ate it as soon as possible already. Hope they can fix this issue as this is not the first time I’ve had a sour taste in the fish paste in the Yong tau foo ! Really disappointing !!
