After the restaurant's recent renovation, we were eager to try the new Thai menu that has replaced the long-standing Italian offering. The space is now bright and open, and the atmosphere felt inviting.
The menu offers a thoughtful selection of dishes, with portion sizes that are just right. While the prices are on the higher side for a casual neighbourhood spot, there are some highlights. The Thai fish cakes were enjoyable, though the spring rolls could have used a bit more flavour. The massaman curry was rich in coconut, though the meat varied in texture—some pieces were tender, others tougher. The pad Thai (chicken) was satisfying, though it didn’t particularly stand out.
One thing to note is that the space can get a bit noisy due to the many hard surfaces, and with the bright lighting, it might not be the most intimate setting for a quiet dinner.
Overall, it’s a nice option if you’re in Carine and in the mood for Thai cuisine. While it may not transport you to the streets of Bangkok, it offers a pleasant dining experience.

Food was delicious, we were greeted with a smile and water for the table.
For 5 adults we ordered: Chicken wings, Massaman beef curry, Penang curry, pad thai, thai beef salad, 1 large bowl of rice.
For 2 x kids - 2 x small rice and satay chicken, they loved it.
Our favourites were the curries!
We had to ask for extra bowls so we could eat the curry with our rice (we normally use a bowl at home, that’s just our personal preference). Place is a bit loud inside, but overall food was delicious.
Will be back again to try the other dishes.

We decided last night to try the new Thai restaurant at the Carine shops and were so glad we did. The decor is good, the service excellent and the food delicious with amazing flavours. We had the Thai fish and duck curry and the serves were generous compared to Thai Restaurant standards. We will definitely return

The food was very good and the service is great too. I definitely need to go back there again.

Food was very good but they let themselves down with some of the absolute basics. For a fully licenced restaurant the wine list is poor. Fortunately we had taken out own and paid the $8 corkage. There was no water provided and we had to ask for it halfway through a curry. Dishes were brought with no serving spoons, we had to ask and got 1 spoon for 2 dishes. When we wanted to take the delicious remaining curry home with us, a plastic container was provided but we were left to deal with it at the table and finally we were charged 50c for the container. These are tiny things but detract from good food
