Last minute booking for 7, parked outside the place was dead quiet. Was thinking we made a mistake.
Chef comes out to greet us and tells us about tonight's special. I didn't really pay attention, due to kids stuffing about.
we're the only customer in the restaurant. My foodie friend proceeds to over order as usual.
The food was amazing, the front of house lady made our Thai milk tea which was perfect about of sweetness. Not the overly orange mix you would usually get and then having to water down the condense milk. This was proper Thai milk tea. I am surprised the place was dead quiet on a Saturday night.
Down the street was an ordinary Thai place and it was booming. The chef here has way more skills. I've uploaded pics, this must be the best that food around the 15km radius.
Will take my parents here, they will love it.

Undiscovered gem of delicious Thai cuisine in the suburbs
Date nights remain special even after 40+ years of marriage and it was a little worrying when we walked into an empty restaurant despite the good reviews, especially after walking past a packed one a few shops away.
Their good reviews are well deserved. The service was good and the food excellent but be warned, the dishes are large. We skipped entrées and ordered 2 main dishes to leave room for their iconic dessert but alas, it was not to be.
The barramundi was perfectly fried with a light touch of sweetish Thai hot and sour sauce, the Chiang Mai pork was balanced and tasty.
There are no pretensions of a la carte fine dining, just a lovely modern café and, for tonight at least, a quiet dinner for two.

Went there for an early dinner. Staff was friendly. The starters were average but the mains were full of flavour. Tried some vegetarian options as well and the whole family loved it. Nice dining vibe!

Best authentic Thai food my family has eaten in Melbourne! The pork curry was really tender and the satay had that smoky charred flavour to it. The owner told us that he makes everything in house, including the sauces and prawn crackers. Definitely Worth Trying #CilantroThaiKitchen!

Wasn’t too sure about this restaurant and we entered on a whim.
Oh wow! I really liked the Caramelised pork hocks prepared by the chef. Crispy outside and tender inside, just falling apart in the mouth as you bite into it. Their Thai fish cake was good, drizzled with sweet chilli sauce. Red duck curry was delicious 🤤 again meat was tender and falling apart, all spices nicely combined making a flavoursome curry, which I could not help but keep “drinking” after finishing duck and vegies.
Staff were friendly and responded well to our questions on the dishes.
Will definitely return again to try out their more “regular” Thai dishes ie green curry, stir fry noodles, etc.
