Clarkson Chinese Takeaway

UPDATED - I got this again a week later still awesome, this time I took a picture of the honey 🍯 chicken and fried kway teow before we demolished it. Honey Chicken 1st class, Prawn Fried Kway Teow 1st class, Special fried rice, spring rolls, prawn crackers 1st class and delivery 1st class. I got the family package A, changed 1 product got a discount coz the new product was cheaper even though the package is cheaper anyway so that’s why I’m giving a 5* rating IMO. Very generous servings. Sorry I demolished the honey 🍯 chicken 🐔 before the photo 😆. Tbh everyone’s experience would be different this is just mine but given that Macca’s is a ripoff and this feeds 3, this by far the better option. Overall 1st class experience it was a friend of mine who recommended this place so I gave them a go and very happy I did. Thx Laurie 👍🏻

Sooooo delicious!! We went to Clarkson Chinese Takeaway as our usual Chinese was closed for the Easter break. It was a bit further for us, but we won't be going back to our usual Chinese after eating from Clarkson!! We were so impressed. There wasn't a long wait, the food was fresh and super tasty. The price is expensive, but on par with all other take aways, so not an issue as such. Plus, the portions were decent sizes, so we had plenty of leftovers for tomorrow!! The lemon chicken was so tasty, the batter was not thick or greasy and the chicken was so fresh. The chicken chow mein was also lovely. The veg was fresh and there were generous amounts of chicken and veg. The Malaysian chicken curry was amazing!! Quite spicy, but the chicken was soooo soft and full of flavour. And again a generous portion. We also had boiled rice and egg fried rice and both were delicious. We've found a new favourite!!

I find the Ginger and Spring onion Fish a bit too salty, and the signature fried rice a bit plain (so at the end I mix the fried rice with the sauce from fish 😄). Salt and Pepper Pork did not amaze the hungry me and a bit not crispy 😅 (I’m a connoisseur in Chinese and Asian food in general so may have high standards ;) I would have given 4 stars only but because they gifted a whole big bag of shrimp cracker for free to my order over $35 and it was ready when I was to pick up (quick 15 mins and was still hot inside when I opened to eat) that I give them an overall 5 stars rating. :)

Went for the sweet n sour pork with egg fried rice and vegetables. The portion was huge. The service was quick, friendly service. I will definitely eat there again!!!
