Fresh fish and seafood on display, clean, organised shop. We ordered Flake, Chips and a Cheeseburger for takeaway. The flake was the best I’ve ever had, tender and juicy, not greasy or overcooked. Chips were great and the medium serve was very generous! Cheeseburger was tasty, fresh roll and very enjoyable!
Definitely return next time we’re in Bendigo!

This Chinese restaurant is not authentic (I'm Chinese and can cook Chinese food). Although the decor looks like the kind of Chinese elements that Australians imagine, authentic Chinese restaurants wouldn't look like this. The dishes came out quickly, and the owner was very friendly, but the quality of the food was only average, below average even. We ordered many dishes, and I could only accept about half of them. For example, the Mongolian beef was overly dark and salty because of too much dark soy sauce. The fish portion was very small. The fried rice was greasy and definitely not authentic Chinese fried rice. This experience taught me a lesson: if a menu includes a lot of non-traditional Chinese dishes, it's likely a pseudo-Chinese restaurant, and I should leave immediately. If I lived in Bendigo, I wouldn't go to this restaurant again. Out of courtesy, we told the friendly owner that the food was good, but I am leaving this review in the hope that the owner will consider changing the chef.

Thank you for your candid reply. I appreciate your recognition that the food may not be "authentic" Chinese cuisine, which can’t always meet the expectations of those seeking traditional Chinese flavors. That’s exactly why I shared my review. I’m not trying to demean your restaurant—clearly, no chef or restaurant can please everyone. Your dishes might appeal to many, though they didn’t meet my personal standards for Chinese food, given my 38 years of experience eating it. 😊
Lastly, I wanted to clarify that we finished all the dishes simply out of dining etiquette—we don’t want to waste food, whether at home or in a restaurant.

The beef on both dishes was really tender: beef ho-fun and sizzling Mongolian beef, the sauces were nice, specially the Mongolian. The deep fried banana and ice cream were also good. Service was prompt. Appreciated the fact there was no music or any source of loud noise present.

Reilly was awesome, extremely accomodating staff member who stopped at nothing to make sure the kids and I had a lovely meal. The mongolian beef was bonza and the honey chicken was good. Fried rice was bangin.

Had dinner here with the family on our recent visit to Bendigo and I must say it is underrated! The food was really good and was loved by my picky children ☺️ so that’s a really good sign. The service is also good as the staff are really attentive and very considerate when she saw my youngest picking out the veggies on his fried rice she offered to give him some plain steamed rice. That’s really sweet of her. 😍 Everything we ordered is good. We will definitely go back here the next time we return to Bendigo.

The restaurant was welcoming when we walked in. The inside feels authentic and is very nice.
The food came out promptly, and all dishes were very tasty.
Prices were satisfactory, but serving sizes could have been larger, especially for the large steamed rice.
Definitely recommend this restaurant when you are in the area.
