We decided to try the Meat Lover Supreme pizza, and it exceeded all expectations. The toppings were a hearty mix of various meats, but what really stood out was the unique flavour of the meat itself. It had a distinct Middle Eastern spice profile, almost reminiscent of a kebab—warm, aromatic, and full of depth. The pizza’s base was another pleasant surprise: not too thick, with a wonderfully chewy texture that held up well without being overly heavy. I’ll definitely be coming back for more of that flavourful, one-of-a-kind pizza.

Perfectly serviceable ramen on the outskirts of Launceston's CBD; will definitely hit a craving if it's what you're looking for Woke up and was in the mood for ramen - enter this gem of a place. Ramens always a good time, so saying "the ramen is good" is a bit redundant (but it's worth mentioning). Alongside this they serve some Japanese classics that bring home those classic flavours Outside of the food, there's not much more that grabbed my attention; service was fine and the setting was clean/nice. Bala's Kitchen in Hamilton was an absolute delight for my craving of authentic South Indian food, and today turned out to be a lucky day indeed. Our order included a variety of dishes: mutton biryani, fish fry 🐟rice, rasam, pepper mutton 🌶️🐐 porotha , and of course, a comforting cup of filter coffee ☕ From the moment the food arrived, it was evident that my soul was in for a treat. The mutton biryani was fragrant and bursting with flavor 😋 the fish fry was crispy and perfectly seasoned 🤤 and the accompanying sides like rice, rasam, and mutton sukkah were exceptional. What elevated the experience even further was the warm hospitality of Peter, who was not only friendly but also incredibly welcoming. His attention to our dining experience made us feel right at home. Bala's Kitchen truly delivered on the promise of authentic South Indian cuisine, and I left with a content and satisfied heart, knowing that I had discovered a gem in Hamilton. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delicious offerings.
