Order Food in hawthorn-east

This has been my favourite Indian restaurant in Melbourne since I first discovered it way back, in 1994! Over the years I brought so many friends, family, colleagues, and they all loved it! The whole experience has been the same all these years - the service, food, atmosphere all have a feel an upscale restaurant. When you add moderate pricing to that, it certainly makes it a must visit place. It is very hard to pick a favourite dish, as all food chef Narender makes is great. Still, i may mention a few. My favourite dish has been, from the beginning, chicken pakora, but I would also highly recommend: - bagare baingan (eggplant dish) - onion chili kulcha (spicy stuffed bread). I also have to mention friendly smiles of the owners Reeta and Narender Behl, which make you feel like you are visiting their home, rather than their business. Highly recommended!

Delicious food!!! we got Nasi Goreng, Laksa and the Roti with Satay 🤤 we forgot the photo before but definitely recommend it ❤️

Average pho. Ordered number 2, chicken and beef- soup fine taste. Beef was a bit chewy, and chicken was fine. Average. Ordered beef and tendon. Soup fine. Beef again chewy. Tendons were 50% soft and nice and 50% tough and not cooked. The spring rolls, two for $7 were also dense to eat. Like eating a boiled sweet, they were crispy but maybe how they fried it was hard to eat. Average. Better options in Clayton and Springvale.

Just got take out here and was pleasantly surprised that it was given with a free tote bag and a complementary rice pudding! Best range of vegan and veg options in the area as well and wonderful variety of food! 10/10 recommend!

Lovely place. Vegan options are absolutely delicious. I ordered the vegan arancini as my started however it was not served with sauce, asked our server who happily accommodated. Loved it. Enjoyed the truffle oil wood oven vegan pizza. It was delicious. Thank you for stepping out of the box from the boring veggi only pizza, we often have as a choice offer. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Food arrival was quiet quickly. Pricing is a little more, well worth it in my option. Easy to get to, parking can be a challenge as it’s street parking only. The time we attended we found parking right outside the Resturant. Lucky, defiantly.
