台湾美食

Taiwanese cuisine itself is often associated with influences from mid to southern provinces of China, most notably from the south of Fujian which often leads to it being classified as or grouped with 'Southern Fujianese cuisine'. There are also influences from Japanese cuisine due to the period of Japanese rule, as well as influence from indigenous cultures on the island.

quote Our visit to Albany Indian Tandoori Restaurant was truly a delightful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was exceptional. We ordered Butter Paneer, which was initially a little spicy for my kids. Upon our request, the staff customized it to perfection, and it became the best Butter Paneer we’ve ever tasted—rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. My kids loved it so much they finished the entire dish! We also tried the Kashmiri Pulav, which was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. The variety and quality of vegetarian dishes were impressive as well, catering to all preferences, including Jain and Swaminarayan options. Despite the restaurant being completely full, the outstanding customer service provided by Gurpreet was truly commendable. She was incredibly polite, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. Gurpreet’s warm hospitality and her genuine care for customers, especially families with kids, were remarkable. Watching her interact with other customers so graciously was heartwarming. The owner is truly fortunate to have such a dedicated and professional team. My family was highly satisfied with both the mouthwatering food and Gurpreet’s exceptional service. Whenever we visit Albany, this will be our go-to place for authentic, delicious Indian cuisine. Highly recommended!

quote There's a hidden gem of a Thai restaurant in this neighborhood that truly surprised me! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, the menu offers a wide variety of dishes, and the flavors are great. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. I'm sure I'll be coming back soon!

quote Take Away Order. First time we tried this place. Chicken Fried Rice. I asked for a large but it was the smaller size. Enough for one person, not two if this was a meal on its own. Tasty. Could have more chicken. Honey Chicken. This was very tasty. Instead of a batter they've used a crumb which was delicious. Next time I'll order that with some chilli to add some spice. Vegetarian spring rolls were good. The vegetarian curry puff was average. They used a more flakey pastry to the spring roll. I'll try them again for sure.

quote Our search for the best Italian food with chicken dishes ends here. We had Fettuccine Polo e Fungi and Spicy chicken pizza, and both tasted extremely good. Pasta was so creamy and flavourful, it just melted in our mouths. Pizza had a thin crust and tasted yummy. The best part of the meal was the owner/chef Antonio, he was very sweet and made sure we had a great food and time here. Definitely would return again for more food.

quote Had a reasonably good meal here, but nothing particularly memorable. The restaurant itself is fairly plain—there’s nothing wrong with the appearance, but it’s clear the focus is more on the food than the ambiance. While the menu is quite extensive, offering something for most tastes, the execution didn’t entirely impress. The food appeared to be freshly cooked and had good flavor, but despite requesting extra spice, the heat level was underwhelming. I had to ask for fresh chilies to add some kick, and I felt the dishes could have used a bit more seasoning overall. That said, the naan bread was excellent. However, with so many strong competitors in the area, this place didn’t particularly stand out. The staff were polite but somewhat indifferent, which added to the overall sense of an average experience. If you’re nearby, it’s a decent option—but not one I’d go out of my way for.
