I had a wonderful dining experience at Indian Essence Place! The please was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, with a great variety of options on the menu. I particularly enjoyed the starter and chicken dum biryani, which was cooked to perfection.
The service was prompt, and the portion sizes were generous. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a special night out, I highly recommer his place. I will definitely be coming back!

Order 4 vegetables and 1 meat for $17 takeaway. No card surcharge.
It was $25 buffet only for dine in for dinner so only options was takeaway as we weren't that hungry.
Beef was a little dry. Sambar coconut was dry and fragrant. Chilli was slightly spicy and sour. Dhal was large pieces and more on the dry side. Cashew curry was a little bland. Okra was crunchy. Overall taste was ok but nothing exceptional. Portions were really generous though for $17. The $15 for 1 meat and 3 vegetables was much smaller.
Think it's $20 for lunch buffet. No papadums for buffet but had string hoppers, hoppers, kotu roti, 3 meat curries, 6 vegetable curries, and bread.

The burgers here are incredibly fresh and delicious. They have a wonderfully simple flavor that never gets old. I was also pleasantly surprised by the generous portion of chips.
Highly recommended!

So happy they opened a branch in the West that's so close to my place. Menu seems bigger than the other branches too.
Google map position isn't accurate though. It's actually behind the subway and you have to enter the carpark from a different entrance.
Kolo mee was respectable. Generous with pork lard and noodles were chewy and bouncy enough although slightly less than the Glen Waverley branch. Even had green picked chilli which is rare in Melbourne. Sambal was ok. Slightly oily but had enough flavour although a little on sweet side for me.
Will update when I've tried more dishes. Lo Bak is minced rather than fillet though.
Update 241124
Tried the basic nasi lemak for $6.90 and Curry chee cheong fun. Rice was fragrant enough and not wet. Could be saltier. Sambal was right taste with onions but needed more of it since there was quite a bit of rice. Added the sambal they provided at the counter and made it spicier but it changed the taste profile. Ikan bilis and kacang were crunchy. Almost as good as MKS Epping in texture but not quite there in flavour and spice. Never been a fan of boiled eggs with nasi lemak as well.
Chee cheong fun was surprisingly good. Delicate slippery and curry was spicy. Only had fish balls and some kind of fish based taopok though so the other $10 dishes have better value. Still it's a very good specimen if you like the dish
Update 291124
Penang white curry mee was average. Hokkien noodles were starchy and soft in texture. Ingredients were sparse compared to menu photos. Sauce was ok with curry mee flavours. Pork noodles dry had lots of meat. Soup was very tasty and a bit sweet so had lots of msg. Kuay tiow noodles were a little bit too soggy for my liking.
Update 071224
Curry chee cheong fun was not as silky as last time. Larger pieces was a bit hard in the middle. But fish balls were crispier this time. Chicken rice was respectable but not amazing. Rice was very fragrant and tasty. Lots of chicken with lots of garlic oil but some pieces were drier and tougher. With the chilli sauce was a bit better. Saturday 1pm there were lots of people and takeaway orders. Kitchen was a bit hectic and struggling with a slightly slower service. Sounded like there may be new staff.

Lots of wok hei, no MSG, Asians that got used to MSG may think the taste is on the lighter side, but I found the flavor/taste is very close to authentic Canton/Guangdong style which the seasoning is not overwhelming and you could really taste the true taste of the ingredients, which is very yummy.
The chicken skewers are deep fried, not traditional malay style, still tasty tho
