Order 4 vegetables and 1 meat for $17 takeaway. No card surcharge.
It was $25 buffet only for dine in for dinner so only options was takeaway as we weren't that hungry.
Beef was a little dry. Sambar coconut was dry and fragrant. Chilli was slightly spicy and sour. Dhal was large pieces and more on the dry side. Cashew curry was a little bland. Okra was crunchy. Overall taste was ok but nothing exceptional. Portions were really generous though for $17. The $15 for 1 meat and 3 vegetables was much smaller.
Think it's $20 for lunch buffet. No papadums for buffet but had string hoppers, hoppers, kotu roti, 3 meat curries, 6 vegetable curries, and bread.

Great burger & fries! 🍔 🍟
The Apollo Burger is fantastic - not greasy but well seasoned & balanced ingredients. Bun is quality & nicely toasted. Appreciated how the burger was wrapped - ready to catch any minimal grease/sauce. Really the best burger I’ve had in a long time!
Wanted to support the owners as they were nice & welcoming & had a clean restaurant, so also got some fries to take away - also very good!
& to top it off, the pricing was reasonable.
If I lived out here, I’d support them more. Hopefully the locals do so 🙂

Excellent quality food here. Ordered crispy pork Kolo mee and the hainese chicken. Both were great. I would say quantity is on thr smaller side for the price you pay. But the quality is also good, I'll let it slide and give them the 4.5 stars, and round up to 5 stars. will probably keep coming back from time to time or get take away when in the mood for Asian.
It's directly in front of the car wash, which is not ideal and brings down the atmosphere. I gave it 3/5 for atmosphere. Also, overall not a huge restaurant. But, I'm there for the food to be honest, so will keep the score at 5.

Lots of wok hei, no MSG, Asians that got used to MSG may think the taste is on the lighter side, but I found the flavor/taste is very close to authentic Canton/Guangdong style which the seasoning is not overwhelming and you could really taste the true taste of the ingredients, which is very yummy.
The chicken skewers are deep fried, not traditional malay style, still tasty tho

A mate and I found this place via a random Google search and drove 40 minutes for dinner, Not knowing what to expect.
Can honestly say that this was probably the best food I’ve had in Melbourne, Unbelievable, even on the cutlets they were the best I’ve ever had in my life. Chips were unbelievable too. The atmosphere was great, modern, a TV and cosy with great service as well from both people working there in many ways.
Thanks Legends, we will definitely be back, I’ll never be more excited for a 40 minute drive again in my life haha.
