A gem for those who love Mexican. Great food, fabulous margarita, & such a kind team. Also, our baby was too young to eat salt, so they let us go to the IGA next door and buy raw chicken to cook up for him. Didn’t even charge!

Cool little Mexican restaurant, that for some reason we didn’t click that it was a Mexican restaurant until we sat down and paid attention to the decor. We came because burgers were on the menu! Staff were engaging and friendly. Loved the vintage tables we sat at - reminded me of my grandmas table when I was a kid. The chocolates s and dipping sauce were sooooo good, hard to stop. (Chips were lightly dusted with spices). Our table ordered the chunky veggie bowl (vegan), the chick-a-fil (chicken burger), kids cheese burger meal and a couple of Fridays burgers. No complaints from anyone. Nicely cooked, fresh tasty food.

Dusty had ventured out the front of the house. He's a dog, so I can't say what his motivations were. Anyway, a member of the public essentially dog-napped him, (he had his address on his collar), and took him half an hour away to the vet hospital under the alleged status of "lost dog". Since Josh and I had to journey to Manly on the puppo recovery mission, we decided to go to his absolute favourite pizza joint, Pizzaland, Manly. Josh had many positive things to say about Pizzaland, and I'm not about to dispute his preferences. We all had a delightful feed of pizza down the foreshore, where Dusty also enjoyed barking at a Maltese terrier. All's well that ends well I suppose.

We love this place as a family, Hermanos En Cantina or pseudonym Curious George. The atmosphere is perfect casual, Mex Tex (in that order) and heaps of fun, happily melding the Friday night young crowd with the pre or post show set, families, and regulars. Food suits all palates. You can't beat the punchy, fresh flavours and huge array of delectable tacos (Texas Red or Triple H today? Porque nos los dos!), but the brisket nachos are first place in their race. Steak cooked to perfection, chips in Perth's top five (start the debate - list needed!). Great value food and bevs, so there's always a couple of margaritas and tap beers ordered to pair with the gluttony. Delivery orders don't get in the way of service at all unlike some places. So, yeah, we keep coming back regularly - ¡Muchisimas gracias! But I do blame our local Hermanos for turning the kids into WWE fans. Fortunately, the Junk Yard Dog appears for OG crowd.
