My family of four enjoyed this great Japanese restaurant and you will too. The noise level was great. Loud enough to add to the atmosphere but not too loud that you can't talk at a reasonable volume. You may have to book as it seems approximately 60 people. Good dinning. 🍷

Nishi is our go-to suburban Japanese restaurant, and it never disappoints! We love coming here often for the amazing teppanyaki performance that is both entertaining and delicious. The chef makes each visit a memorable experience. The food is consistently good. For a casual family dinner, our favorites include the sashimi, teriyaki chicken, karrage chicken, tempura prawns, sticky pork belly, sushi rolls and more. Highly recommend Nishi for anyone craving Japanese cuisine!

We are keen on trying a Teppanyaki style dining experience, it was our first time and definitely not the last! I was looking for some reviews, we were staying at the CBD but this one is quite far but has the best reviews so we gave it a go and did not disappoint. It was affordable and the food is really delicious. The Chef is really enthusiastic and made the experience fun. I regret that I didn’t get to catch his name, I could’ve included them here but you will see him in the videos anyway. The Tempura Ice cream is worth giving a shot too! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Came here a few times for ala carte and also the teppanyaki and we were never disappointed even once! The food tasted fresh and delicious and the Teppanyaki chef has a great sense of humour making every dinner so memorable!

Love love love this .. what a little hidden gem. The chefs is a definite master in his skills as a showman. He kept our party of 6 entertained and feed with a delicious variety of beautiful cooked food . We had the Ian special of beef, chicken, scallops and prawns . And the kids cherry blossom of beef, chicken and prawns. The food was fresh and the prawns and scallops large, plump and sweet. These all come with salads, miso soup and fried rice. The service staff were friendly and always on hand . Was a great night out.
