quote Ordered via menu log. I was a little apprehensive based on reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered my food about an hour earlier than I normally would have because they do have warnings on their dishes that the wait times may be long. I called up the restaurant to double check something in my order and the guy who I spoke to on the phone was lovely and helpful. I ended up receiving my food 45 minutes later (much much sooner than I expected due to the estimated wait time). Food was piping hot and delicious. I think that if other people do have issues with the wait time, please be patient and kind to the restaurant staff when you call in. It’s a very busy and popular place after all. There are warnings all over their menu informing you that wait times may exceed expectations, so order it earlier than you normally would, especially with large orders.

quote Have loved this restaurant for years. Often do online order to collect on way home from work. Always ask politely for chopped chilli and I receive. Tonight a request for an additional $3 when I arrived to pick up! If I had of known this would have gone to farmer jacks while waiting. Disappointed but young man delivered good service when advised of this. NOTE: Put it as an option so no disappointment when arriving!

quote After the restaurant's recent renovation, we were eager to try the new Thai menu that has replaced the long-standing Italian offering. The space is now bright and open, and the atmosphere felt inviting. The menu offers a thoughtful selection of dishes, with portion sizes that are just right. While the prices are on the higher side for a casual neighbourhood spot, there are some highlights. The Thai fish cakes were enjoyable, though the spring rolls could have used a bit more flavour. The massaman curry was rich in coconut, though the meat varied in texture—some pieces were tender, others tougher. The pad Thai (chicken) was satisfying, though it didn’t particularly stand out. One thing to note is that the space can get a bit noisy due to the many hard surfaces, and with the bright lighting, it might not be the most intimate setting for a quiet dinner. Overall, it’s a nice option if you’re in Carine and in the mood for Thai cuisine. While it may not transport you to the streets of Bangkok, it offers a pleasant dining experience.

quote Everyone should give this restaurant another chance! Since it was taken over by new owners earlier this year, the food has become incredibly delicious. The dim sum and roasted meats are amazing. I highly recommend trying it out—it’s not even expensive! Living in the northern area, I’m so glad that I finally don’t have to drive all the way to Northbridge just to have dim sum. Although their dim sum and roasted meats are delicious, the highlight is actually their dinner service. The head chef’s dishes are packed with “wok hei” (that unique, smoky flavor from stir-frying), and the food is genuinely amazing. 🥰 These days, I basically go there at least once a week—it’s just too outstanding!

quote As always, the main thing at a takeout pizza restaurant is the food. You ask, is it any good? The answer is, without a doubt and with a resounding cheesy grin from my partner, the food is much better than good. My partner and I had a family sized meat lover pizza on a fateful Friday date night, and it surpassed expectations. The cutesy little 'hole in the wall' pizzeria in the Villanova complex off Wanneroo road had the welcoming family atmosphere you trust, with bubbly and friendly young staff behind the counter and in the kitchen. You can clearly see that the staff are enjoying and thriving in their workplace, and it shines through in the yummy food they deliver, and the way they treat their customers. Driving home the family feel and small local business energy, the small gallery wall of family pictures was charming and nicely done, adding to the overall aesthetic of the place. Finally, the kindness and community mindedness of D'Pizza's owners and staff are beyond what is expected. Having previously held free pizza nights for the displaced and less fortunate, and offering free pizzas to community members who are struggling when they have reached out for assistance on social media is incredibly generous, and seeing a local business helping the local community really goes to show what supporting local can do for a community. We were only able to get one pizza to share today, but we will definitely be back soon to try more off their reasonably priced and fun menu, and branch out to try their pasta menu.
