I haven't been here for a while so I decided to pop in for lunch with a work colleague since we were in the area. I noticed quite a few things have changed since the last time I was here for a meal, maybe 6 - 8 months ago. I guess costs have gone up and they've had to cut back wherever they can.
They no longer have the Maggi chilli sauce bottles on the tables. If you want it, you'll need to get it from the counter.
They claim to have new items added to the menu eg Sarawak Laksa, although I could've sworn it was already on the menu. I'll need to visit again to try their version of Sarawak Laksa. Pictures look legit and pretty tempting, so I guess I'll have try it soon.
We ordered a Singapore Fried Mee hoon, Nasi Lemak with chicken curry and a serve of fried wontons. All washed down with a couple of Cokes. I added extra noodles and a fried egg on top of my fried mee hoon. Fried egg was $4 and so was the extra meehoon. A bit steep but I figured I'd give it a go.
Wait time for food to come out was around 10 - 15 minutes, which I suppose is pretty good considering all tables were full in the shop i.e. very busy.
Singapore Fried Mee Hoon portions seem to have gotten significantly smaller. I thought at first I had received the regular portion instead of the extra noodles. However, the server confirmed that what I received was with extra noodles. The fried egg was done nicely. Crispy chewy white and the egg yolk was just runny enough. Flavourwise, there was a bit of wok hei to the noodles, but it wasn't spectacular. Had to put lots of the Maggi Chilli Sauce to give it that flavour boost. The photo I took of the fried meehoon was after I put the sauce on.
Feedback from my colleague about his Nasi Lemak was that it was OK although the sambal seemed to be a bit bland and portion sizes seem to have been reduced also.
The fried wontons were just as good as I remembered them to be so that's a plus.

Have been here a couple times and have tried the tacos, nachos and quesadilla.
Tacos: pretty good! The booker T, junk yard dog, mephisto and the red river jack were stand outs. The King Kong bundy was a bit too salty, the fish fillet on the Aussie Joe bugner was a bit small and there was a bit too much beef on the macho man Randy savage so it overpowered the other flavours. The tacos are packed and filling and very satisfying.
Nachos: the beef steak nachos were average
Quesadilla: the chicken quesadilla is also average
Overall a pretty decent Mexican joint, with a vast list of tacos to choose from and it’s all reasonably priced. The nachos and quesadillas also weren’t too bad but definitely would recommended sticking to the tacos. Services is quick and friendly. We came here on a a public holiday and they made sure we were aware of the surcharge which I thought was conscientious.

I came here a few years ago, and reacted badly to the msg. Since then I stopped coming to Hey until tonight as it was en route from seeing my dad.
I just wanted a quick meal and run. I walked into what seemed like an old kopi diam, with squishy spaces. It was abustle with happy patrons enjoying their meals which I didn't pay much attention to as I was not expecting much, except to confirm my assessment from a million moons ago.
I ordered a hor fun with egg sauce and the weekend special, yong taufu laksa. We got the chopsticks and did the usual clean. Before we knew it, the hor fun arrived. Looked good with generous ingredients and a wok hei flavour about it.
My yong taufu laksa arrived shortly after which was nice and I was gobsmacked! It looked amazing!! And it tasted like no YTL I have ever tasted!! The first thing was the taufu wafer (?), then the full-sized fresh okra, not slimy or squishy but fresh! The fish paste in the YT was generous and so fresh!! Huge large pieces that struggled to fit in my mouth.
The soup was creamy with the coconut, and sambal - authentic. It had the crunch of fresh taugeh and choy sum.
My son also preferred the hor fun compared to other places and he's a connoisseur of HF, with a fussy criteria. I will try that next time.
This should be a 5-star review but I'll reserve that for the next visit.
As we walked out into the balmy carpark, I felt like I could have been back in Asia somewhere. We were done in less than 30 minutes!!!
And to my surprise, all that was less than prices at most places. For the quality and quantity, we're definitely returning!!
Yea, proved wrong!!

Great atmosphere with the pictures on the walls brought me back to the time I was in travelling in Turkey.
The Staff were friendly and very helpful when choosing the food for Lunch.
Everyone at the lunch enjoyed their ordered meals. Very favour full and authentic delicious. I had the dumplings with yogurt & sauce.
There is plenty of parking in the front of the Restaurant, at the time I was there at 12:30pm to 2:00pm on Sunday.
This parking area is also easy access to the entrance for disabled or elderly people.
