Order Food in scarborough

New ownership has been a refreshing change. Everytime the fish has been amazing!! Chip are average, would be nicer if crisper. Only negative is every time we speak to the young staff they have no idea what’s going on, no knowledge of what they stock, and seem to mix up orders a lot. Hopefully that changes, because it’s got a lot of promise.

I usually dine here once a week, but recently, I have noticed a decline in quality. On two separate occasions, I found insects on the vegetables, making me suspect that the vegetables were not properly washed before being served. This raises concerns about the kitchen’s hygiene and overall food safety. Although the staff is friendly, they often forget parts of my order. I hope the restaurant can maintain its quality so that customers, including myself, can continue to enjoy dining here.

Service was nice and friendly, but the food was okay. Bun bo hue was decent, but the tom yum noodle soup with seafood was a bit pricey for $20, when there was very little seafood and just cheap seafood meatballs. Seating area was nice and the vibes were good overall.

Ordered via menu log. I was a little apprehensive based on reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered my food about an hour earlier than I normally would have because they do have warnings on their dishes that the wait times may be long. I called up the restaurant to double check something in my order and the guy who I spoke to on the phone was lovely and helpful. I ended up receiving my food 45 minutes later (much much sooner than I expected due to the estimated wait time). Food was piping hot and delicious. I think that if other people do have issues with the wait time, please be patient and kind to the restaurant staff when you call in. It’s a very busy and popular place after all. There are warnings all over their menu informing you that wait times may exceed expectations, so order it earlier than you normally would, especially with large orders.

I had ham & pineapple on thin base, and the chicken pizza on normal base. The normal base was a little soggy. My preference only too much ham on the ham & pineapple- would of liked more pineapple and on the chicken -there was way too much green capsicum it was over taking the taste of the rest of ingredients. But the pizzas are nice. Plenty of ingredients and cheese. Not too greasy. I had delivery. Would I order again probably yes.
