quote I usually order on Uber from them and it's ALWAYS on point. Delicious, perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned. Yum cha whenever I want? Absolutely yes and thank you. I live nearby so my friend and I walked over to eat in house and I was unsurprised to find that the owners (who work there) were LOVELY humans with kids who are so polite and so sweet. This place genuinely makes me happy. The Prawn rolls are easily the best thing, the fried rice is the best I've ever had (and I don't eat rice much if ever) - it's delicious.

quote This place is an absolute treasure of an Indian restaurant that should be on every food lover's radar. Despite being very old, the restaurant's impeccable maintenance speaks volumes about the owners' dedication to their establishment. The authenticity of the food is what truly stands out. Every dish carries genuine Indian flavors that transport you straight to the streets of Delhi or Mumbai. While the entire menu impresses, the aloo tikki is an absolute must-try - perfectly seasoned and prepared with obvious care and tradition. And don't leave without sampling their mango ice cream for dessert, which provides the perfect sweet finish to your meal. What elevates the experience beyond just excellent food is the remarkable service. The staff's attentiveness creates an atmosphere that makes you feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Their approach to hospitality is truly exceptional. The people running this restaurant embody humility while displaying complete confidence in their culinary offerings - a combination that's reflected in every aspect of the dining experience. Their passion and expertise are evident in each carefully crafted dish. For anyone seeking authentic Indian cuisine, I give this restaurant my 100% recommendation. The moment you step inside, you'll feel right at home in an environment that celebrates both tradition and hospitality. This isn't just a meal; it's a cultural experience worth savoring.

quote The burger patties are quite thin and the chicken burger was very oily. The cheese fries only had cheese on the top half. There are definitely better burger places in the area.

quote Came down here on a Saturday evening for dinner and they were already half packed. The first thing you notice is the place is very rudimentary, floor tiles is slightly greasy sticky and I knew it straight away the food was going to be good and authentic. The service is efficient and on point, got the menu and water as we sat down. Ordered the XLB, Xiao long bao, Chinese sausage fried rice, spring onion pancake and pan fried pork dumplings. The food came out very quickly and it was definitely cooked to order as the buzz from kitchen rang out for each order. Spring onion pancakes were had a crunchy crust, the centre was chewy and packed plenty of savoury flavour, just like how I had it in China. The fried rice was cooked in a wok with nice amount of oil to keep the rice seperate and packed plenty of wok hei (breath of the wok). XLB was small in size but well portioned for a mouth explosion with the hot soup inside as you one biter. This is the real experience of XLB. The fried pork dumpling is definitely made in store during the day over at one of the dining tables and cooked to order. The flavours were spot on and the bottom of the dumpling is crispy. All in all we finished our food and most impressive is their chilli oil on the table is house made, the umami flavours and the mix of heat is perfect, not too spicy and enhances every dish ever so slightly.

ltj-chinese-restaurant

quote Expected long serving time (~30minutes), the old couples are trying their hardest to serve you, so use that time to chat or read 😄. The serving lady is so warm and kind. She can speak both Mandarin and English well. Amazing Xin Jiang cuisine! We orderded 3 lamb skewers, Xin Jiang homemade spicy noodle with chicken, and 12 pcs of fried dumplings.
